The good news is that pelvic pain is highly TREATABLE. Learn more about what could be going on and what YOU CAN DO!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Tip 1: Use a seat cushion to take pressure off your bum. EFFECTIVE options:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Pelvic Pain Solutions <a href=\"https:\/\/pelvicpainsolutions.com\/collections\/capps-seat-cushions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cushions<\/a> for work chair or car<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/comfyhuman.com\/coccyx-cushion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coccyx cushion<\/a> &#8211; important note: the hole belongs at the BACK<\/li>\n<li>FREE: Place one standard pillow on the right half of your seat and one on the left half. The slight gap in the middle will take pressure off the genitals &amp; tailbone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Tip 2: Use a support behind your back<\/h4>\n<p>To effortlessly lock yourself into a comfortable position:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rest your back against chair,<\/li>\n<li>Use a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verywellhealth.com\/make-your-own-lumbar-roll-for-proper-posture-2696193\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lumbar roll<\/a>, or<\/li>\n<li>Roll up a sweatshirt behind your back to fill the space between your low back &amp; your chair<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Tip 3: Avoid exaggerates sitting postures<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Slumped<\/em> sitting can make your tailbone hurt<\/li>\n<li><em>Sitting leaning<\/em> to one side can make your sit bone hurt<\/li>\n<li><em>Pelvis leaned forward<\/em> can cause genital pain with excessive pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Tip 4: Wear loose clothing<\/h4>\n<p>Sitting in tight jeans or other clothing can worsen pelvic pain by adding extra compression and friction to the genitals and pelvis. Aim for loose, stretchy fabric when possible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Tip 5: Move throughout the day<\/h4>\n<p>Not moving can cause pressure and pain to build in your pelvis. Try these pressure break ideas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Walk break every 1 to 2 hours<\/li>\n<li>Seated cat\/cow 5 to 10 times, every hour or so<\/li>\n<li>Glut squeezes x 10 per hour<\/li>\n<li>Wiggle your legs whenever you think about it<\/li>\n<li>Sit on large exercise ball<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Tip 6: STRETCH<\/h4>\n<p>Here are some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/deskercise#arms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deskersise ideas<\/a> to decrease pain and stiffness.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Tip 7: See a pelvic floor physical therapist for pain relief<\/h4>\n<p>A pelvic floor physical therapist (PT) can help you find the SOURCE of your pain and develop the QUICKEST way to get better.
