Meet Your Therapist
Dr. Ken McGee, PT, DPT (they/he) is a white, queer transmasculine physical therapist. They have helped hundreds of people overcome conditions related to gender affirmation and pregnancy. Dr. Ken understands that you don't have down time to just wait for things to get better on their own. Their years of experience mean that you'll be back to normal faster. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ken enjoys supporting families as a lactation educator and birth doula.
Kind Words From People Like You
I can’t recommend Ken enough. They were extremely helpful and informative before, during, and after birth! They are incredibly knowledgeable about birth and the human body, and were able to teach coping skills and exercises that helped me feel more prepared. They listened to my fears about birth and helped develop a game plan to minimize them. They took notes during our meetings which let me focus on the conversation and not feel like I had to remember everything.
When I had a complication right after birth, they stayed and talked with me so that my partner could attend to our little one with skin to skin. They advocated for my birth preferences and helped me cope with pain. After birth, they were so helpful with support and advice regard breast/chestfeeding and coping with a new baby. This was so important as a first time parent! I’m so grateful to Ken for being part of our birth story!
- RACHEL, FIRST TIME PARENT
After having my second baby, I was looking for some help getting back in shape and several people recommended Ken to me. Working with Ken was terrific! Not only did he teach me a ton of exercises specific to my goals, but he also was kind enough to teach me from my house! He was also ultra responsive and helpful over email, and phone.
Ken is an expert in his field and genuinely cares about his clients.
I would give more then 5 stars if I could.
- ELIZABETH, SECOND TIME PARENT
